Fagor Automation customers have a new date for their diaries: INDUSTRIE PARIS 2012, one of the most important French machine tool trade shows. There is a lot of expectation as Fagor Automation is known for continually innovating products and services to offer development solutions and opportunities to its customers worldwide.
We have interviewed the Director of the Fagor Automation subsidiary in France, Eric Galland, who spoke to us about the reality of the French market.
GORATU: Innovative 28m-long machine with FAGOR CNC
Goratu manufactures an innovative 28 m long machine for naval sector parts with a CNC system from Fagor Automation.
GEMINIS brand lathe manufactured by Goratu, model GHT9 G4 D – 1600 for Baliño.
Due to the need to machine very long parts, the company BALIÑO, S.A. has asked GORATU to manufacture two in-line lathes that will facilitate their machining. The two CNC systems and the 28 metre feedback systems are by Fagor Automation.
Fagor Automation will face 2012 with a growth of 10%
Fagor Automation will face 2012 with the intention to increase its share of global share, for which it has set a target to grow 10%. Their new CNC families and developments of CNC and absolute encoders (field in which it holds the world leader in long encoders) will play an important role in this plan.
Fagor Automation has opened its fourth branch office in INDIA
Fagor Automation opened its first Indian branch office in 2008 in Bangalore, then followed the ones in Pune (July 2010), New Delhi (October 2010) and Rajkot (December 2011). Fagor Automation bets strongly on globalization but with a local approach so the customer can be sure that he will find a solution tailored to his real needs.
