Between September 26th and 30th, Fagor Automation HQ held the annual Technical Meeting attended by the heads of the technical departments of its entire international network, China, Taiwan, USA, India, Italy, France, Germany, Portugal, Brazil, etc. An encounter that gathered 16 high representatives of Fagor Automation subsidiaries worldwide.
Besides informing of the new techniques of their products, this highly qualified technical team had the opportunity to share their knowledge and experience on different markets.
The work sessions were organized by the Training Dept. of Fagor Automation with the cooperation of the Marketing dept. In all, 25 people participated in these sessions.
As stated by Iñaki Apaolaza, head of training at Fagor Automation: “They have been 5 intensive days where they’ve received detailed information on the technical advances of Fagor CNC’s as well as on the newest CNC products, DRO and Feedback systems. All members actively participated in these sessions, not as mere listeners. All technicians have presented their applications before the rest of the team, there have been debates and we’ve heard experiences from all those countries where Fagor Automation is present.”.
The attendants have evaluated this meeting very positively because it’s helped getting closer relations between experts with various technical knowledge according to their market and country. For a technological company like Fagor Automation, settled in 40 countries, it is vital to get all this knowledge together and this type of encounters facilitates these relations. Iñaki Apaolaza also points out the premiere presentation of the new Finetune feature (autoadjustment of the axes) and the standard PLC (modular PLC program that may be used in other programs).
